In this online herbal workshop Steven Martyn (M.A. in traditional plant use) of The Sacred Gardener focuses on helping you make a customized herbal protocol for each stage of your journey of healing Lyme Disease and it’s co-infections. This tailoring of the medicine to the individual’s tolerances and needs is necessary with herbal treatments because unlike with antibiotics one size does not fit all.
Steven has thirteen years experience with healing Lyme naturally. This journey started with contracting and healing himself of the disease and co-infections with herbs. Since that time he has helped and supported countless people to heal from Lyme and it’s Co-infections with herbs.

Lyme is a very complex disease, with many co-infections, that takes many different forms. While there are antibiotics and many anti-spiroketal herbs that will kill out Lyme in the bloodstream, it’s not that easy to get rid of. This is because over a short time Lyme moves into denser tissues, or a cystic form, that antibiotics and antibodies can’t affect. There are also many consequences to quickly killing out Lyme in the body, such as a Herxheimer reaction and more subtle congestions that become acute situations over time. So, the herbal regime for this ailment can be equally complex in addressing our body’s imbalances and degeneration, as well as in treating the Lyme and its co-infections.
Herbs can be used at every stage to treat Lyme; from the first tick bite, to the early and acute stages, to Lyme induced chronic conditions. While initially (in the first few weeks) Lyme can be successfully treated with antibiotics, after four weeks herbs are much more effective. The pathogen can’t evolve to avoid the diverse and complex array of the hundreds of chemicals present in the herbs like it can with one chemical antibiotic. After a short time the disease also begins to penetrate the denser body tissues adjacent to the bloodstream. Herbs can also be used to treat many of the body’s symptoms, such as pain and neuralgia, anxiety, poor digestion, heart and brain issues, poor sleep and exhaustion.
In this workshop Steven will go through the processes of harvesting, drying, and making all of the tinctures, decoctions, and infusions he has used to heal himself and others of Lyme. You will learn how to prepare and use the three core protocol herbs to treat Lyme disease and its co-infections. You will also be given detailed and complete instruction in how to use more than twenty other herbs for treating secondary issues.
